Colonel Edwin N. Hernandez Perez

I am the Senior Army Instructor for the Hightower JROTC Program. I have been teaching JROTC for 5 years. I served 33 1/2 years in the US Army holding many positions. I also worked at the Pentagon under the Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Information Managment from the Webster University, St Louis, MO. I also graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Secondary Education in Social Science from the Inter American University, San Juan, Puerto Rico.

My name is First Sergeant Melvin Lovelace and I have been in education for over seven years. I am the Army Instructor for JROTC at Hightower High School. I retired from the U. S. Army back in April 2008 after completing 20 years of service. I currently hold a MBA, B.A. and A.A. degree.
